an hour or so sightseeing I
now retrace my steps to the
bank, After getting my draft
cashed I now make my way
toward the railroad station.
and as it is but a short
distance I fine my way with-
-out much difficulty. Arriving
at the station I learn the
train does not leave for
1 ½ hours yet so as my baggage
has not yet arrived from the
warfe. I return to the street
intending to see a little
more of the city. After
wandering around for some
time I stopped at a Dining
Room for dinner and it
was rather amusing the
way the waiter set the
table bringing my tea in
a small teapot for me to
help myself. It is now time
to think of the train so
looking after my baggage
and seeing it Labeled
properly (for they have not
got the check system here)
I secured my ticket for Hanley.
In paying for the same the
Agent gave me some pennies
as change and they did seem
so strange. I had about nine
of them and to judge by
the weight I thought I
had about ninty ninety
and as big as cartwheels such
awkward things compared
with what I had been
used to handling. After
purchasing my ticket it is
now time to board my train
which is a curious looking
concern very much resembling
to page 27  to page 29
