And at the Present time it is 9.27 AM at home in Pittsburgh, 9.55 AM in New York and 1.55 PM on board, so you will see there is quite a differance, And I should have stated that the time of day referred to in each day’s account is the time on (smudge) board and not Pittsburgh time as I promised to keep as long as possible. but although I still have Pittsburgh time it would be riduculous to state 3.00 -- - AM Pittsbrugh time when it is 7.oo AM on |

The moon is rising and we all agree that we have been blessed with one beautiful day and also an equally beautiful Evening, it would be impossible to give justice to the scene by describing it on paper. for no one who had never witnessed the moon rise at sea, can relize how beautiful a scene it is, it resembles somewhat the sunrise we witnessed this morning with one exception, for the sea resembles molten silver, instead of gold as it appears- -ed this morning, and there are many dark clouds with a silver lining.
