We have just received word that the burial of the young man who died yesterday is just about to take place on deck. so hurrying abaft the Pilot house we arrive just in time, as the service is about to commence, the body is in a shroued shroud of canvass tightly sewn around the body with a weight placed at the feet and lying on a board, the whole, being covered by the ship’s flag for a fall, the scene is very sad, the sailors having removed |
